Providing technical assistance
and support to families of children and youth
with disabilities is an essential element of the
work of SST 3. Research has shown when families
are involved in their child's education, students
are more successful. SST 3 offers educational
opportunities throughout the school year for families
so they can become active participants in their
child's educational career. Information on disabilities,
special education laws/regulations and other issues
of concern to parents are available by contacting
our staff.
